Bird’s-eye view

Vincent Thibault is a Canadian writer who has published many books in French, including both fiction and nonfiction. His work is surprisingly varied, but keeps exploring key themes—the meaning of kindness; the quest for clarity and wisdom in a hectic and noisy world; and the reconciliation of tradition and modernity. He is also a screenwriter, and a translator of Buddhist texts.

Over the past ten years, Vincent has redirected much of his creative work towards screenwriting.

His passion, versatility, bilingualism, understanding of narrative mechanisms, and the rich palette of psychological nuances he has developed in his work as a novelist set him apart, as evidenced by mentions in American competitions.

Buddhism

Lectures and translations

Vincent has been studying Buddhism for twenty years. He practices mainly according to the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, of which he has met many masters, and he is involved in various activities related to the preservation, demystification and transmission of this rich and relevant tradition.

Movement

Sports coaching and artistic consultations

After having studied martial arts and being introduced to various health exercises, Vincent developed expertise in art du déplacement, an athletic and artistic discipline akin to parkour.
